Saint-Petersburg is among most popular world tourist destinations

According to the TripAdvisor Saint-Petersburg is on the list of 100 best tourist destinations of the world.

The site TripAdvisor is visited by 25 million people monthly. The managers of the site analyzed preferences of the site visitors and defined the most popular destinations.

The researchers took into account tourists' reports on their tours. Finally they were able to make a rating of 100 best tourist spots of the world. Each of them has its special feature, something that make them attractive for people.

The first place took New Zealand fiord “Milford Sound”. Queenstown situated not far from the fiord, famous for extreme tourism, is second on the list.
Some European cities are among first twenty destinations: Salzburg, Siena, Dingle . Venice, Paris, London, Rome and Prague are even not in the first 50 spots. Greece resort “Rodos” was named the best resort of Europe.

Saint-Petersburg is the only Russian city on the list. It took 63 place.
