New Anapa to be built on the Black Sea

The construction of the special economic zone (SEZ) of tourist and recreation type “New Anapa” is a promising project for the local authorities.
“Thanks to “New Anapa” the main problems of region’s infrastructure will be solved”, Anatoliy Pahomov, mayor of Anapa reported.
“With the construction of the SEZ we simultaneously develop city infrastructure. Establishment of the new power stations will spur the construction of housing estates, entertainment and shopping centers and other properties. New investors will come to Anapa”, the mayor noticed.
The SEZ with the area of 780 he will be located in 35 km distance from the airport. It will include 40 four-star hotels, aquapark, oceanarium and yacht-club. When it is put into operation it will be able to serve 360 ths people a year.
“New Anapa” will have all the necessary facilities for vip-tourism as well as for youth and family tourism at medium prices.
Private investment to the project will amount to €1.2 bln, state investment will amount to €500-700 mln. The payback period is expected to be 7-8 years.
