The authorities of Nizhny Novgorod are going to create Natural Park “Voskresenskoe Povetluzh’e in Southwest of Voskresensky district along the river Vetluga. Elena Tsendrovskaya, press secretary of the deputy governor Irina Zhivihina, reported.

According to the project of the park besides the organization of the guided walking and water tourist tours through the park, museum and tourism complex “Grad Kitezh” (will include an optic theatre, museum and small buildings presenting ancient Russian architecture) and hotels will be located in the park. The area of the park and its value are not defined yet.     

According to the press-secretary, the local government is going to allot 4.5mln rubles for the park. Additional infrastructure will be created there with the help of  private investors, Vedomosti reports.
