Antimonopoly Committe permits Ukranian hotel operator clubhouse group holdings to buy a share in Kyiv-based Seven Days Ltd

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AU) has permitted Ukrainian hotel operator Clubhouse Group Holdings (British Virgin Islands) to buy a share in Kyiv-based Seven Days Ltd., the committee's press service reported Interfax.

The press service said that the purchase would grant the buyer over 50% of the votes in the governing body of the company.

Seven Days Ltd. is a daughter company of Clubhouse Group Holdings. At present, the company manages two hotels under the Seven Days brand in Kyiv and in Kamianets-Podilsky. Clubhouse Group Holdings plans to expand the chain of three-star hotels to 12 by 2014.

The company has land plots in Lviv, Kyiv, Saki and Truskavets.

In October 2007, Clubhose Group Holdings raised $32.9 million to finance the construction of three-star hotels through placing 16.4% of its shares among foreign portfolio investors. A total of 2.452 million depositary receipts were issued.

The key shareholder in Clubhouse Group Holdings is the co-owner of the Furshet retail chain, Ihor Balenko, and its junior partner is the director general of TKS Holding, Ivan Torsky.
