Bouygues Construction to build five-star hotel in Turkmenistan

The company “Bouygues Batiment International” being the part of the French “Bouygues Construction” inked an agreement on the construction of the high-top hotel complex in the capital of Turkmenistan, the city of Ashkhabad.  The five-star hotel, to be one of the largest in the Middle Asia, will cater mainly to foreign businessmen attracted to the country by its economic potential.  

The whole area of the 17 storey hotel will be 95 ths m2. It will have 300 rooms including 12 presidential suites. 2000 workers will be engaged to the construction of the hotel. The opening ceremony of the hotel will be held in December 2009 during the summit of the heads of CIS.    

The company “Bouygues Batiment International” works on the market of Turkmenia for 15 years. It took part in implementation of  the several high-end projects including Kipchatskaya mosque which is the largest in the Central Asia, State Theatre, sport complexes and buildings of several ministries.
