New hotel will open in Saint-Petersburg in May 2009. It will be located in the house of Chicherin, prominent lawyer and philosopher.  

The investor follows all the requirements of the committee for monuments protection and tries to reserve the monuments of historical importance. The hotel will open on the Birthday of Saint-Petersburg.  

«The restorers found optimal solutions in order to preserve the historical heritage of the building and at the same time to fit the building for the hotel», Valentina Matvienko said.

According to Alexander Ebralidze, CEO of ОАО “Talion” 90% of restoration has already been completed.

The swimming pool that will be constructed on the roof of the hotel doesn’t have any connexion with the historical building.  It will be located on the separated building. The area of the restoring building is 17 ths m2. $10 ths are required in order to restore 1 m2 of the building.
