The Korean company Vonplan Global in accordance with the signed in the beginning of August with the government of Republic of Altai protocol on intentions made an official claim for the construction of tourism projects in the special economic zone (SEZ) of tourism and recreation type “Altaiskaya Dolina” in Russia. This was reported by the local subsidiary of Federal agency for SEZ management.   

If the claim is approved the company will become the third candidate for the construction in “Altaiskaya Dolina”. The company is going to build up the central island of the SEZ.

“Altaiskaya dolina” will include the complex of artificial lake and three ponds on the banks of which hotels of different classes, sport grounds, business and cultural centers, aqua park will be situated.

The whole area of the SEZ will be 856 he. The zone will be able to accommodate 94 ths tourists (considering the fact that 1 mln tourists visit Gorny Altai every year).

Vonplan Global unites several Korean companies specially for Altai tourism projects.
