The hotel “Hilton Garden Inn” opened in Perm. It is located in the reconstructed building of the hotel “Plaza Olympia”, Interfax-Povolzhie reported.

At the opening ceremony “Hilton Hotels Corporation” and ООО “Business-Contact” inked a franchise agreement on the construction of another hotel of Hilton in Perm.  According to the director for development of ООО “Business-Contact” Sergey Stashkov the company is planning to build the five-star hotel of “Doubletree by Hilton” in the center of Perm by the middle of 2010.   The investment to the project will amount to €30 mln. The company is planning to start the construction in the spring of 2009.  

“Business-Contact” is also negotiating with “Hilton Hotels Corporation” on the construction of the third hotel of Hilton in Perm – “Hilton Hampton Inn”. As Stashkov reported the construction of the third hotel might be over by the middle of 2010. The estimated amount of investment is €5-7 mln.

As the senior vice-president of “Hilton Hotels Corporation” Stenton Jekobs reported, Hilton plans to open 3 more hotels in Russia by the end of 2009. He also confirmed the plans of the company to expand the hotel chain of Hilton in Russia to 70 hotels.
