Executive appointments in Lotte Hotel MoscowNext-Stop.ru | 11 August 2009Arie Aizenshtat is appointed as General Manager of the five-star Lotte Hotel Moscow that is planned to open in 2010. Arie came to this position with abundant professional experience in the hotel industry. A graduate of the University of Houston and the Hilton School of Hotel & Restaurant Management Arie started his carrier in Hyatt in the F&B department. In 1986 he moved on to the Sheraton in Israel, where he worked for 8 years and grew from the F&B manager to General Manager of the hotel. In 1993 Arie was invited by the Holiday Inn to open two new hotels in Eilat – Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Patio. While working for the Holiday Inn Arie also spent three years in Moscow, where he was invited as part of the support team for the opening of the chain’s first Russian hotel in Vinogradovo. In 2000 Arie returned to Hyatt and was appointed as a General Manager at the Hyatt Regency Dead Sea. The Renaissance Aktau in Kazakhstan was another pre-opening project where Arie also worked as the General Manager. Arie is glad to return to Moscow and present the first project of a major Korean deluxe hotel chain in the Russian capital. The first Lotte hotel will offer guests 304 luxurious rooms. Two restaurants, a bar, nine conference-rooms, a superb Club floor, a fitness center, pool and first-class spa facilities will also be available to the hotel’s clients. Jason S. Cho has been appointed as the Deputy General Manager of the Lotte Hotel Moscow. Jason has an impressive 20 year history with the Lotte Hotel company. He joined Lotte in 1989 after graduating the King Sejong University with a diploma in Hotel Management and started work in the Lotte Hotel Seoul as a Front Desk Supervisor. Since then Jason has contributed time to several of the hotel’s departments – Front Desk, Reservation, Sales & Marketing, etc. and has shown an example of a distinguished career in the Lotte Hotel. In 2006 he was appointed as the Director of Marketing for 5 Lotte hotels in Korea. In 2007 Jason arrived in Moscow and has been in charge of the hotel’s construction and development as the Director of Operation at Lotte Hotel Moscow Project till the present time. Konstantin Goriainov was appointed as the Executive Assistant Manager of the hotel. Konstantin graduated from the Moscow State Linguistic University and began his hotel career in 1993 in the Metropol Intercontinental Hotel at the Front Desk. He also has experience of working for the London Intercontinental Hotel in the UK. Before coming to Lotte Konstantin spent eleven years working for Moscow Marriott Hotels. He started his career in the company as a Sales Manager in the Marriott Royal Aurora and grew to become Area Director of Sales and Marketing for three hotels of the chain. In Lotte Hotel Moscow Konstantin will be responsible for the work of the Sales and Marketing department, strategic planning of the hotel’s activities, the promotion of the Lotte brand on the Russian market, the hotel’s pricing policy, analysis of the market and the development of clientele data-base.
