Executive appointments in Lotte Hotel Moscow
Arie Aizenshtat is appointed as General Manager of the five-star Lotte Hotel Moscow that is planned to open in 2010. Arie came to this position with abundant professional experience in the hotel industry. A graduate of the University of Houston and the Hilton School of Hotel & Restaurant Management Arie started his carrier in Hyatt in the F&B department. In 1986 he moved on to the Sheraton in Israel, where he worked for 8 years and grew from the F&B manager to General Manager of the hotel. In 1993 Arie was invited by the Holiday Inn to open two new hotels in Eilat – Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Patio. While working for the Holiday Inn Arie also spent three years in Moscow, where he was invited as part of the support team for the opening of the chain’s first Russian hotel in Vinogradovo. In 2000 Arie returned to Hyatt and was appointed as a General Manager at the Hyatt Regency Dead Sea. The Renaissance Aktau in Kazakhstan was another pre-opening project where Arie also worked as the General Manager. Arie is glad to return to Moscow and present the first project of a major Korean deluxe hotel chain in the Russian capital. The first Lotte hotel will offer guests 304 luxurious rooms. Two restaurants, a bar, nine conference-rooms, a superb Club floor, a fitness center, pool and first-class spa facilities will also be available to the hotel’s clients.

New hotel to complement Tula

Second hotel of New Star to open in Perm in 2009
The second hotel of New Star will be built in Leningrad district of
Perm. According to CEO of ÇÀÎ “Predpriyatie B-1336” (which is
developing hotel chain New Star) Alexander Polev the reconstruction of
the building with the area of 5.6 ths m2 is now underway. The new hotel
will include 80 rooms, restaurant, street-bar, sauna and fitness club.
The proposal was made to open the hotel in March 2009.

First hotel of Rezidor to open in Izhevsk
The construction of the hotel complex located on the Central Square of
Izhevsk is close to its completion. The complex will open in the
beginning of September 2008. The investor and financial controller of
the project is the company “Izhevsk-Hotel” the owner of which is Andrew
Oskolkov. The management company “ASSO-Stroi” is the chief building

investment to the project.

Bouygues Construction to build five-star hotel in Turkmenistan
The company “Bouygues Batiment International” being the part of the
French “Bouygues Construction” inked an agreement on the construction
of the high-top hotel complex in the capital of Turkmenistan, the city
of Ashkhabad. The five-star hotel, to be one of the largest in the
Middle Asia, will cater mainly to foreign businessmen attracted to the
country by its economic potential.

Tallest hotel of Tatarstan opened in Kazan
The tallest hotel of Tatarstan “Riv’era” opened in Kazan on 23 of
August, Interfax reports. The four-star hotel features 26 floors and
is the part of the huge complex “Kazanskaya Riv’era”. ÎÎÎ «Suvar-Kazan»
is the developer company of the complex. The hotel includes 210 rooms and able to accommodate 367 guests. It
also has fitness club, restaurant, bar, business center and conference
halls.

Hotel ‘Yamskaya’ opened in Tobolsk
New three storey hotel “Yamskaya” opened in Tobolsk. The participants
of the region tournament of Russian competitions for the rewards of the
club “Leather Ball” became the first guests of the hotel. The hotel is located in the historical part of the city. There used to

A hotel “Four Seasons” will open in Saint-Petersburg. It will be

Daily reports. Last Wednesday the hotel management company “Four Seasons Hotels and
Resorts” inked an agreement with “Tristar Investment Holdings” (the
subsidiary of “Venture Investments & Yield Management LLP”) on the
hotel operation. The proposal was made to open the hotel in the end of
2009.

Hotel business of Moscow: Hotel of Mandarin Oriental to open in 2011
Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group will operate a hotel in the center of
Moscow. The hotel will open in 2011 according to the joint press
release of the group and the company “Unikor” which is the owner of the
building. The hotel “Mandarin Oriental, Moscow” will be located in Tverskaya Street in 5 minutes walking distance from Red Square. The hotel will occupy the multifunctional complex “Lyuks’” which will also include shopping complex, spa and fitness centers.
